How do I download student scores?

The Download Scores feature provides a .csv file of assignment metrics that can be used for student grades

Use the Download Scores button in the assignment page to download a .csv file of student scores that can be uploaded into a LMS or grade book. 

  1. Assign a lesson to students
  2. Give feedback to at least one student
  3. The Download Scores button will appear at the top of the assignment dashboard
  4. Give feedback in Notebook to all students
  5. Select Download Scores
  6. A .csv file will download to your computer. Each column is a different metric about the assignment. You can select which metric you would like to use for LMS or grade book.*
  7. Upload a column or copy/paste a column into your LMS or grade book

Assignment Metrics Available

*Note: Currently only the Assignment Mastery score is available in the .csv file. In the next Notebook release other metrics listed below will be added. 

  • Assignment Mastery Score: The average feedback provided to each student. Assignment Mastery Score is always out of 4. Learn more about Assignment Mastery Score here. 
  • Assignment Master Score Percent (Coming Soon): The Assignment Mastery Score represented as a percent value. 
  • Total Points Given (Coming Soon): The sum of all feedback points given to a particular student. 
  • Completion Percent (Coming Soon): The percent of interactive sections in a lesson to which a student has responded. 
  • Turned-in Timestamp (Coming Soon): The time and date that a student turned in their assignment.
